Unfurnished room in Levenshulme

Hi I’m Will. My housemate is moving out after buying so I’m looking for a replacement in my rented house in Levenshulme.

The house is unfurnished and the majority of the downstairs furniture is going so hoping to find someone who is up for helping to furnish the shared spaces as well as their own room.

I am looking for someone who would like to contribute to a clean, comfortable, friendly and respectful shared home. I tend to get on well with creative, funny, open minded people who are happy to be a bit odd and have some genuine passions whatever they may be. I have enjoyed forming positive and lasting friendships with housemates in the past and would hope the same could happen again. Bonus points if your ideal night in is bingeing 70s/80s B-Movie trash. No TERFs no tories.

I am a social, creative person with a broad range of interests. To list a few: making music, djing, fixing audio gear, coding, reading, hiking, folk history, the counterculture and activist art, pints and gigs. I am actively engaged in music, art and politics. I tend to spend a few nights a week at my girlfriend’s house and vice versa so you might often have the place to yourself or have an extra person home (we would be respectful of your space and she is very nice). I work from home two days a week but have an office set up in my room so am usually out of the way if you also work from home.

Whilst I do still love a late night I have slowed down and would rather not be living with someone who is on one every weekend. Happy hosting the occasional birthday party etc. We haven’t had problems with the neighbours previously so just want to keep it respectful.

As to the house it is in a really great location, short walk to Stockport road and backing on to Highfield park (even better ~200m from Levenshulme’s finest The Sidings). The letting agents tend to be respectful and are responsive when there are issues. Bills come to around £100-130 each on top of rent.
