Description
Edit: Please have a profile or write plenty about yourself in the opening message, otherwise I won't reply. Please read the entire advert and match the criteria. If you're looking for a room to lock yourself away in and be anti-social, swipe left... wait, wrong app. If you're after a home where you can relax and be yourself then carry on reading...
Hey all, thanks for checking out this advert offering a single furnished room in a large house. Previous occupants here have included people who have moved to Manchester to study a short course or others who have arrived in Manchester and are looking for cheap accommodation until they find somewhere more suitable to their needs, so we're open to short lets as well as long term.
It’s a detached house with street parking out the front. As this will be your home too, feel free to bring family and friends over whenever you want and if they need to crash over, we have a sofabed. You'll have loads of fridge and cupboard space, there’s a good sized TV in the living room which has a NetFlix account to be used. There’s a shed load of storage inside to stuff your physical and emotional baggage.
It’s a 20 minute walk to the Northern Quarter, 30 minutes to either Manny Pic or Vic train stations. A shed load of buses go past all the time towards the city centre.
You'll have 2 other housemates; Rodrigo is from Mexico and is a student architect, speaks perfect English & has lived in other parts of the UK, enjoys swimming and always enjoys a chat. Del is the live in landlord (though it's a house rule you can't call him that. He insists on housemate) who works on the railway, travels a lot, is a gym rat and is learning Spanish as a hobby. We consider ourselves cool people to live with. We hang out together be it in the living room or occasionally the pub & enjoy each other's company.
About you! This will be a place for houseMATES and hopefully you'll already have a profile written out so we can get to know you a little or at least you'll write about yourself in the opening message. Social interaction is extremely important and If you plan on only living in your room and avoiding those who you live with then sorry but this place won't be for you. If however you want to join a good vibe, chill out & have a place to look forward to coming home to, you know what to do.
There’s no deposit and rental price is all in including bills cos it makes life easier.
Cheers, Del
