Semi-Detached House – Professional or Mature Student Welcome
The price is for the room and some bills (gas /electric /WiFi / water). Council tax will be split separately depending on status (student or not).
Hello! My partner and I are looking for a working professional to take our spare room.
Mature students are also considered.

We work partially from home and would prefer someone with a similar working pattern. We keep the house clean and expect the same. We have two indoor cats, so cleanliness is very important.

I'm 30 (Dan) and my partner Chris is 32. I am a data analyst and I work hybrid (3 days in office and 2 at home). Chris is doing a PhD in some sciency thing so he is in the lab most days. So we typically drive into the city when we both go in.

Chris likes to climb and game and i like to swim/cycle and watch trash tv shows 😅. Not shy for a night out, but also happy for game /poker nights. The projector is great for playing Mario Kart and watching films!

About the House:
Our home is a larger-than-average semi-detached house with shared access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and conservatory. We also have a detached garage to the back with some gym equipment.

Located off Greengate Roundabout on the edge of Moston/Chadderton, it's a short 7-minute walk to Moston train station, taking you to Victoria Station in around 10 minutes.

Buses arrive outside the house every 15 minutes, taking approximately 25 minutes to get to Piccadilly Gardens. There are also buses to NMGH.


Local Amenities:
- A 5-minute walk to PureGym.
- A 5-minute walk to Aldi.
- Other supermarkets (Morrisons, Lidl, Tesco) are a 20-minute walk away.
- 20-minute walk to Bogart Hole Clough Park.

The Room:
The available room is a double room, fully furnished with a double bed, bedside table, lamp, rug, wardrobe, table, and shelving. It has a wooden floor and storage space available in the loft.

You will have your own separate fridge and freezer and will have two cabinets in the kitchen for your stuff.

You're welcome to use the rest of the house for storage and we're happy to put up additional shelves if needed (and reasonable)

Shared Spaces:
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, soup maker, air fryer, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. You'll have the fridge and freezer to yourself for ease.

We're happy to share general cookware and plates/cutlery as long as you clean and put away after use.

There's a large garden with a patio set, BBQ, and firepit. The locked garage contains some gym equipment you can use. There's also a driveway to the rear of the property that we use for our car. There is usually side street parking available.
Important Notes:
- We have two cats. One is 7 years old and the other is 2 years. So the room/house is not suitable for those with allergies to cats.

We also have a cleaner booked to come in fortnightly for general cleans which we pay for ourselves so the house is always clean and theres no arguments over the cleaniness of the bathroom!
