Hello,

I'm looking to rent the double room on the top floor of my house to a clean and respectful working professional or mature student. I aim to curate a friendly atmosphere where we can spend a bit of time together, but I also value and respect personal downtime.

🛏️ The Room and Private Amenities

The generously sized room is located on the top floor, offering excellent privacy

• Bedroom: Includes a double bed with integrated storage and two clothing rails with shelves. There is ample space for a desk if you work from home. The previous lodger left a shoe rack and a TV stand, which I can remove if you don’t want them.

• Home Office Access: On days when I am in the office, you are welcome to use my main top-floor office space

• Private Bathroom: Although it isn't an en suite, you will effectively have exclusive use of the top-floor bathroom, which features both a shower and a bath

🏠 Shared House Facilities

You will have access to all shared spaces and utilities:

• Kitchen: Modern and fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, plenty of cupboard space, and a dishwasher

• Utility Room: Top-floor utility room access

• Shared Lounge: Comfortable living room with an extendable dining table

• Guest/Downstairs Bathroom: Available for guests

• Outside storage: Big enough for multiple bikes. Has some kettlebells and a bike in there at the moment

• Spare room: third bedroom, which guests are welcome to use

The house is ideally situated for easy access to key areas:

• Excellent transport links to Manchester City Centre and Stockport

• Close proximity to the MRI

• Convenient access to supermarkets and major universities

🧾Monthly Bills:

• Council Tax: £50 contribution

• Electric: around £100 - £200 pcm

• Internet and water are included in the rent

💷 Rent & Deposit

• Rent = £625 pcm

• Deposit = 1 month’s rent

🕺 About Me:

I work for a marketing agency on a hybrid basis. My office attendance varies based on scheduling & desk availability

• I enjoy keeping active, reading, cooking/eating out, art, the odd social drink, and learning about new things

The room will be available from January
