Description
Hey,
Unfortunately my housemate has has to move back home and a double room in my city centre apartment has become available to rent immediately.
The housemate (me):
Cliche 28 year old working 9 ‘til 5 in finance, so the weekdays consist of working, cooking, Netflix and sleeping. Luckily I’m still working from my office and spend time at my partners, so you’ll get the place to yourself often enough. Weekends would normally be spend bottomless brunching, eating out, day trips and drinking (avoiding bringing the party back home).
I like to think I’m clean, house proud and respectful. I’ve lived with numerous housemates over the years, some which are now my closest friends. Whoever decides to move in it’s important that this isn’t ‘just a room’ they spend all day in, but somewhere they feel comfortable and at home.
I you’ll also be living with Pat the cat, she’s easily the friendliest, most affectionate cat you’ll ever meet and never fails to win people over. She’s got automated feeding, watering and litter tray so there’s never the nasty smells of litter trays. Despite her pedigree not being hypoallergenic none of my allergic friends have ever had issues.
The apartment:
- Central Northern Quarter location minutes walk from the Arndale, shops, bars and restaurants (I know, not much use at the moment, eh? But it does mean Deliveroo arrives in no time at all). Shudehill bus station is across the road; Victoria train station is under 5 minutes walk and Piccadilly is around 10.
- Double Bedroom with loads of furniture (we can remove whatever you don’t need).
- Use of the main bathroom, including shower over bath. I’ve got my own ensuite.
- Kitchen with breakfast bar including everything with everything you could need, dishwasher, endless utensils, Nespresso, etc.
- Lounge area with use corner sofa and OLED TV, (Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, NowTV, etc all included)
- High Speed Broadband
- All bills included (rent, council tax, water, electricity, etc.)
- Some people are renting parking spaces at an additional cost of around £90 per month.
The ideal housemate:
- Somewhere between 21-45; similar age range to my social circle
- Professional in full time employment
- Ideally female, but I’m by no means fixed on that.
- Respectable, reliable and honest.
- Sociable - not expecting a best friend, but somebody who’s open to a glass of wine, chat and Dominos every now and again.
- LGBT friendly
FAQS:
- Rent is £560 per month including all bills
- Deposit of 1 months rent
- Ideally 6 month minimum term, but appreciating the current climate in flexible and would consider 3.
If you’ve liked what you’ve read and want to ask some questions or come over for a viewing and a natter let me know.
