I am a live in landlord looking to rent out my spare double bedroom in a 2 bed, 2 bathroom flat in Vimto Gardens which is in a great location. With the best of both worlds, as it’s pretty quiet most of the time but is still only a 5-10 min walk from Salford Central station and a great selection of bars/restaurants in Spinningfields.
The building is only 6 years old and the apartment itself is in great condition, practically brand new as you can see in the pics (with some updated furniture). The second bedroom and bathroom has rarely been used and includes a new fitted large 4-door wardrobe, bedside drawers, double bed and mattress. There is also space for a desk if required. So I am looking for someone who is clean, tidy and will respect the place.
The flat is corner aspect on the 4th floor, has a large south-facing balcony, 2 Juliet balconies, and floor to ceiling windows giving loads of natural light as well as nice city views of Spinningfields/Deansgate and the historic cathedral opposite. There is a communal garden on the first floor and a car park downstairs, however I am currently using the allocated space. It is possible to rent a space from my neighbour for £60pm or there are plenty of car parks (starting from £36 per month) or street parking within a 5-minute walk if needed. Conveniently, there is also a Co-op on the ground floor.
Rent is £750pm and bills (Water/Electricity/CouncilTax/Internet) are not included - these will be split 50/50 which will cost approximately £150 per month each.
