Flatmate Needed For Mid-September 2024 Start

Hey there!

I am currently looking for someone to move in with me for a tenancy starting from mid-September for 12 months ideally!

The rent for the flat is roughly £1,200pcm (I can confirm for definite when the renewal price comes through) and hence is £600pppm. The bills for the flat obviously vary on usage but with Salford CT Band D, wifi, electricity and water the bills come to around £150-£200 each and hence we’ll be looking at £750-£800pppm

The property is a lovely 2-bedroom apartment. The room you’ll be renting is bedroom 2 but has a larger master bathroom. There is a utility room with a decent washing machine, boiler and space for drying clothes too! The kitchen/lounge is one large room but is a nice layout, fully furnished with sofas, tables, chairs, coffee tables and TV stand with storage. Full length fridge/freezer is installed and has plenty of room for two people. The kitchen also has a brand-new dishwasher, and there are 5 spacious cupboards for each tenant, along with a large drawer for each person too!

I have lived here for a couple of years now so already have the following too:
- 55 Inch TV in Lounge
- Vacuum
- Dehumidifier (makes drying clothes so easy and cheap!)
- Toastie Maker
- Slow Cooker
- Air Fryer
- Microwave
Obviously feel free to bring what you like but just noting the above so you don’t unnecessarily double up on things! Anyone who moves in is obviously more than welcome to use any of my things. I’m not about being petty or awkward about those things at all!!!

I’m 23 years old and have actually had quite a few jobs in Manchester, but for now am self-employed and looking to start another venture soon too! I’m pretty chill to live with, and definitely someone who appreciates a clean tidy space (although I’m not a neat freak and so not someone who is going to freak out over mess, so please don’t worry). Although I’m only 23, I consider myself quite a mature individual so am looking for someone else who is like that too. I enjoy going out, and trying both new and old favourite restaurants, but also love a night in. I’m gay too so if you have a problem there, feel free to keep scrolling :p

The building itself has a 24/7 gym, concierge, 24 hour parcel service, free tea and coffee lounge and there is also parking at an additional cost

The flat is probably a little on the smaller side, but this has never really presented an issue other than when two people are in the flat, we may be able to hear each other moving about if not trying to be quiet. The flat does not face a road or railway line but does look into a courtyard which can be a little echoey at times (summer more so than winter as more people are outside). I mention these things just so people are aware of the downsides, but obviously, if you’re interested then message me and you are more than welcome to come view and see for yourself! They really aren’t a big problem, but just want to be as transparent as possible!
