Looking for a new flat mate to join a two bedroom flat in the green quarter.
About the flat -
The flat is in a great location - green arches bar, grub, and half dozen other are all across the road.
Ancoats/NQ/Victoria and the arndale are a short walk away, so it’s super well connected.
There’s a dishwasher, washer dryer, TV and balcony in the flat, and there’s a tandem parking space included in the rent as well.
It’s council tax band D, and the bills are generally pretty reasonable. We currently pay £20 for wifi, water is usually around £30 a month, and electricity between £60 - £80 a month. (Costs for the flat, not per person)
About me -
I’ve lived here for the past year with my partner, and we’ve decided to part ways - but I really love the flat so would love to stay here!
I’m 25 and am a freelancer in the film/tv industry. This means I’m out at work Monday-Friday, and usually won’t be at home between 7am-7pm.
When I am at home and on the weekends, I’m super sociable so would love someone that can become a friend rather than just a flatmate. I love going out for food and drinks, but also love cooking at home and finding something good to watch on tv. I’m also into the gym, running, and Pilates, and am always up for trying new things!
New flatmate preferences -
Ideally I’d love the person moving in to be in a similar life stage as me, and be up for hanging out (whilst also respecting each others independence).
I’d prefer someone who doesn’t WFH so the bills don’t increase too much - but happy to discuss if that’s not your situation.
You’ll need to pass referencing with the letting agent, and they won’t accept students or anyone not in employment.
Ideally the move in date will be the 15th of September, but there’s some flexibility around this and we can work out the rent accordingly. There’s also a £50 name change fee to pay as well.
