Description
Hello!
I'm relocating for 6 months due to work and I'm looking for someone to take over my lease meanwhile and share this 2 bed flat 5 minutes away from Piccadilly and the Northern Quarter with my lovely flatmate. The double room comes with an ensuite and will be available from the 5th of December until 4th of May.
1. What is the flat like?
The flat is on the high ground floor of a 6-story building (it's ground floor due to the way the building in planned, but it's 1st floor in terms of how high it is from the actual ground).
It has a spacious balcony that can be accessed from the bedrooms and the living room, with viewings of a canal.
From the entrance hall, you will have access to the 2 bedrooms, Ben's bathroom, a utility cupboard with a washer and an open plan living room and kitchen - with hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, double door fridge freezer and plenty of storage.
The flat comes fully furnished.
Unfortunately the landlord does not accept pets :(
2. What is the room like?
The available room has an ensuite, with a shower, toilet, sink and storage. The bedroom itself has a bed and mattress, 1 bedside table, a tall boy (chest of drawers) and a big mirrored wardrobe.
3. What is your potential future housemate (Ben S2) like?
[coming soon]
4. About the new flatmate:
I would like to rent my room to someone who is looking for a 6 months tenancy and would be happy to move out by beginning of May.
We are looking for someone closer in age (30+) that we (and specially Ben) could become good friends with. We believe that having a genuine connection is key for a successful co-living arrangement.
I would appreciate it if you could reply by telling me something about you (age, work, daily routine, favourite activities) and explaining what you are looking for in a housemate in your message so we can have an idea of who you are. Additionally, please let us know why a 6months tenancy would suit you.
Ideally the new housemate will be female (cis, trans, non-bin) or an LGBT male (cis, trans, non-bin).
Unfortunately the landlord does not accept applications from students, sorry.
5. Rent, bills and the boring stuff:
The rent for each is £625 + just under £200 for the bills (council tax, internet, water, electricity).
Landlord will carry all the expected checks and will not accept people with previous CCJs or income below £18.000
I hope to have viewings from the 7th of November and complete the whole tenancy process by the week of the 18th.
6. Lastly:
Pictures of the room will be uploaded later today.
I can send a video of the flat upon request :)
I hope that's enough info for now, but if you want to know more about the room or property, please let me know :)
