Hello! I’m looking for a roommate to rent a room from March as my flatmate has bought a house! I'm looking to share with a full time professional female who ideally is a similar age to me (26). I'm pretty easygoing, work 9-5 sometimes from home and enjoy going to the pub, out for food and gigs. I tend to have fairly quiet nights during the week but enjoy going out on the weekend! I'm looking to share with someone who is respectful of the shared space, easygoing and tidy.
The flat is really lovely and modern, with 2 roof terraces and a 24 hour concierge downstairs. There's also a bike room and free use of a gym 5 mins walk away.
The bedroom is a good sized double room with an en-suite (with a bath). It has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and room for a desk. The windows are floor to ceiling (very sound proof!). There's an open plan living room/ kitchen with two sofas, dining table and dishwasher. We also have a storage room for any overflow.
The location is brilliant, just off Northern Quarter (opposite Afflecks) and near Piccadilly Gardens. It’s a 3 min walk to the Arndale (including Aldi etc) and 10 mins walk to both Piccadilly and Victoria stations.
Bills aren't included in the rent but average about £200 each per month currently. We have wifi installed.
The letting agents have also said that the tenant needs to be/have:
Fulltime, permanent employment (not fixed term/zero hour)
Minimum annual income of £20,000+
No adverse credit (CCJ’s)
