Lovely furnished double room by the canal!

Hi everyone,

I’m moving to London in a few weeks and looking for someone to take over my room in this lovely city center home with two femme roommates! It’s a double room with attached bathroom, just steps from the New Islington tram stop or a 10-minute walk (along the canal) to the Northern Quarter. We're looking for someone kind, social, and ideally femme or queer to take over the space!

The apartment has a big furnished living room with lots of natural light and attached balcony, a great kitchen, and plenty of space to hang out with friends. The room comes fully furnished, and has plenty of space and a big street-facing window. (My partner stays over frequently and we've never had any problems!)

The room is available for a short-term lease (through October 27), or to extend for a year after that. I'm looking for someone who's willing to take over the room from mid or late September, and am willing to drop the rent a bit if you can take it over close to Sep 16 when I move out! (If you need to move in a few days earlier than that, let me know and we can work something out.)

THE ROOMMATES: Ella is a full-time organizer and political activist, who also loves music and vegan cooking. Sarah just finished her masters in publishing and is an avid knitter and reader. They’re both incredibly lovely people, and if I didn’t have to move I would be staying here for years to come!!

THE DETAILS: Rent is month-to-month, £750 /month, paid directly to our very nice single-unit landlord. The apartment is available to full-time MA or Ph. D. students without any issues - two of us were full-time students when we moved in. Videos or video tour available on request, just drop me a line.
