Description
Fantastic double bedroom available from 31 January.
My flatmate has just landed a job down in London so he is heading off, which means I need someone to take his spot on the tenancy. The room is a solid size, gets good natural light and comes with your own private toilet which makes life a lot easier. The flat is right next to the Arndale, about five minutes from everything you actually need, ten minutes to the city centre and basically next door to Victoria train station. Proper convenient.
I have tried to make the place feel homely without turning it into some showroom and I am always open to new ideas. If you want to bring a plant, a lamp or whatever makes the place feel like yours, go for it. There is also a concierge which is handy for parcels and general peace of mind.
• Spacious double room
• Your own private toilet
• Concierge in the building
• Great natural light in summer
• Right next to Arndale
• Five minutes to everything
• Ten minutes to the city centre
• Next to Victoria train station and Exchange Square tram stop
• Shared areas and bedroom already furnished
• Rent - 650 pppm
• Internet 13.50 pppm
• Water 25 pppm
• Council tax 109 pppm (Band D)
• Electricity around 75 to 85 pppm (lower in summer.)
• Not suitable for students because of council tax
• Referencing and affordability checks will be conducted by the letting agency.
Quick note. The flat uses electric heating so the bill can get a bit high in colder months. If you work from home full time it might sting a bit. Not the hill I am willing to die on, although thought it best to be upfront.
About me. I work within the public sector in finance and I am hybrid so half the week I am out of the house anyway. I have lived in shared houses for a couple years so I think I’ve seen it all so rest assured I’m pretty laid back. I am clean, but not the type to kick off over a mug being left out. For fun I swim, explore new spots around the city and every couple of months I try to host a games night. Nothing too serious, just a few people, card games and a couple of beers if you are up for it.
If you’re interested, get in touch and I can sort a viewing. Always easier to get a feel for it in person.
