Spacious Double Room, Private Bathroom CityCentre

Hi All! My current flatmate and I have been living in this flat for 2 years now, and we have made this place home. He is now moving abroad so I am looking for a replacement. The current contract runs until Nov 26. If we get along and you like the flat we can extend after that :)

ABOUT THE FLAT
The flat has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living room/kitchen area, and a storage room. It is a lovely, bright flat in a very central location.

The living room is spacious and gets plenty of natural light through large windows. The kitchen is fully furnished with an oven, washing machine and dishwasher.

The shared spaces are used with common sense and mutual respect. Kitchen utensils are shared, and so are small household tasks like filling/unloading the dishwasher and taking the bins out. There are no strict rotas, just a relaxed, sensible approach.

Bills are usually around £250 per month to share, depending on electricity and water usage. Council tax is around £200–£220 per month to share, and Wi-Fi is around £30 per month to share.

THE ROOM
The room is very spacious, much larger than the average room in Manchester. It comes with:

Double bed
Four large windows, two of which open
Private bathroom with bathtub, located just outside the room
Plenty of natural light
Lots of space to make it feel comfortable and homely

ABOUT ME
I’m 28 and work office hours in a hybrid project management role. I am Italian but I have lived in many cities in the past 10 years. Currently in the UK for the past 7 years. I’m easy-going, chilled, tidy and clean, but not obsessive about it. I want the flat to feel like a home, not a showroom.

In my spare time, I enjoy going out for food and coffee, seeing friends, exercising, and occasionally enjoying a glass of good wine. I don’t really go out partying anymore. I love cooking, meeting new people, I am very outgoing and friendly.

I sometimes have friends over to say hi, or occasionally staying for the weekend, so you would need to be comfortable with that. Of course, I’m respectful of shared space and privacy.

ABOUT YOU
I’m looking for someone chilled, relaxed, clean and tidy in communal areas, but not someone who stresses about everything or wants strict cleaning arrangements.

Ideally, you are someone who:

Has common sense and respect for shared living
Is happy to share household duties naturally
Has already lived in shared flats before
Works outside the flat or hybrid, as fully remote workers are not preferred
Is friendly and easy to live with, but also enjoys their own space and privacy

It would be lovely to live with someone I can have a chat with, occasionally watch something with, or share a relaxed home environment with, without feeling like we always need to be talking.

You need to earn at least £30,000 per year to be eligible
