Spacious Double Room, Private Bathroom CityCentre

Hi all! My current flatmate and I have been living in this flat for the past two years, and we’ve really made it feel like home. He’s now moving abroad, so I’m looking for someone lovely to take over his room.

The current contract runs until November 2026, but I’d like to extend for other 12 months after that :)

ABOUT THE FLAT

The flat has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living room/kitchen area, and a storage room. It’s a bright, spacious flat in a very central location.

The living room gets lots of natural light through large windows, and the kitchen is fully furnished with an oven, washing machine and dishwasher.

The shared spaces are used with common sense and mutual respect. Kitchen utensils are shared, and we naturally share small household tasks like filling/unloading the dishwasher and taking the bins out. There are no strict rotas, just a relaxed, sensible approach to keeping the flat clean and comfortable.

Bills are usually around £250 per month to share, depending on electricity and water usage. Council tax is around £200–£220 per month to share, and Wi-Fi is around £30 per month to share.

THE ROOM

The room is very spacious, much larger than the average room in Manchester, and gets plenty of natural light.

It comes with:

* Double bed
* Four large windows, two of which open
* Private bathroom with bathtub, located just outside the room
* Plenty of natural light
* Lots of space to make it feel comfortable and homely

ABOUT ME

I’m 28 and work office hours in a hybrid project management role. I’m Italian and have lived in a few different cities over the past 10 years, and I’ve been in the UK for the past 7 years.

I’m easy-going, friendly, clean and tidy, but not obsessive about it. I like the flat to feel like a home.

In my spare time, I enjoy going out for food and coffee, seeing friends, exercising, cooking, meeting new people and occasionally having a glass of good wine. I don’t really go out partying much anymore, but I’m very sociable and enjoy having a warm, relaxed home environment.

I sometimes have friends over to say hi, and occasionally someone may stay for the weekend, so it would be good if you’re comfortable with that. Of course, I’m always respectful of shared spaces and privacy.

ABOUT YOU

I’m looking for someone chilled, friendly, clean and tidy in communal areas, but not someone who wants a very strict or intense house-sharing setup.

It would be lovely to live with someone I can have a chat with, occasionally watch something with, or just share a relaxed and comfortable home environment with , without feeling like we always need to be social.
