1 double room to rent in Northern Quarter

Hey there, we are two girls looking for someone to take the place of our housemate who is moving to Poland.

The room is in a spacious 4 year old flat, approx. 7 minutes walk from Northern Quarter and Piccadilly Gardens. We are a couple of minutes walk from Urban Exchange which has an Aldi and PureGym and we are also very close to local restaurants, bars and convenience stores.

The flat is south facing and so we get a lot of natural light and warmth. We are both mature students and so have varying schedules and work-loads, but we are both welcoming girls and definitely like to enjoy ourselves when it suits. We have exams and assignments at different times so I wouldn't say we are keen for a total party animal and we both like to travel and so spend some time away from the flat. But really (excuse the cliché) we are looking for someone who wants to be a friend as well as a housemate. We both like our own space but we are not super into the idea of living with someone who keeps totally to themselves as we have always had a social, open atmosphere in the flat.

The property is band D for council tax, however one of us contributes to it also, making it £60 a month for any non-student. Bills work out to be about £50 per month each (that is probably an over-budget, but we always like to leave a bit extra in case). One of us owns the flat and so there are no agency fees and any maintenance problems etc in the flat are dealt straight away - makes life easier for everyone!
