Description
Hi my name is Olivia!
I'm looking for someone to take the other double room as my flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend.
Unfortunately I can't provide any exact photos of the flat just yet but more lived in photos will come at the weekend when I'm around. These are the ones that the letting agents use so they aren't EXACTLY the right furniture HOWEVER the flat had only been lived in for 6 months prior to me moving in last November and has had a repaint as well so it's virtually brand new and included a lot of the show furniture and soft furnishing and the photos are a very good indication as of what it's like! It is very nice, and an awesome location to town considering that it is Salford as its opposite the Lowry about 5-10 mins max walk to Market street and 5 minutes walk to spinningfields. The room sizes are the same as shown etc just slightly different sofas (which is actually awesome), tables and chairs etc.
I have set it up to be myself as the single occupant with a new flatmate to be a 'permitted occupant' meaning only a possible charge for changing the permitted occupier name of £120 and I take responsibility for organising the bills etc and the rent of £570 per month including all bills (other than the quarterly water) such as council tax, electricity, internet and sky package. The deposit is £650.
The FLAT comes with:
• 24/7 concierge service
• Integrated appliances -fridge/freezer, Electric oven /ceramic hob, dishwasher, Washer/dryer
• L shaped grey sofa
• Livingroom 24" TV (mine)
• Juliette balcony
• High quality laminate flooring to all rooms other than bathrooms
• Electric panel heaters
• Security fob access control to all building entrances
• CCTV surveillance to all public areas
• Central courtyard garden with water feature
• Secure cycle storage
The ROOM comes with:
• Double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws
• Sole use of the main bathroom (other than if I can be cheeky and occasionally use the bath as my en-suite comes with a shower only but this is not necessity)
• Sorry NO PARKING however there seems to be people selling their spaces and the council can't enforce the street opposite the building so people tend to park there all the time.
A bit about me...
I have lived in Manchester for the past 7 years other than a very brief 6 months in Liverpool as it is where I went to university.
I am a straight, 25 year old professional female working as a hearing aid dispenser travelling across the North West. I do a lot of driving which can be tiresome so in the week like most people enjoy chilling out, a glass of wine, the gym, trips to the cinema, meals etc. On the weekend I like to go out but am not a party animal and can take it or leave it these days for other interesting activities!
When it comes to living with me I would like to keep the flat tidy but this is not always essential and I will not be someone nagging you to move your stuff from the communal areas, wash up prior to even eating or clean up immediately after having friends round! I've lived in pretty large houses with both guys and girls throughout university which I think has made me very laid back when it comes to flat-sharing.
I'm looking for someone male or female to hopefully become friends with as I think it's ideal to get along well and be able to chill and go out together however I am not going to be needy as I already have friends around and respect peoples need for their own space! I'm a very chatty and bubbly person so recluses probably wouldn't suit and if I could find someone who could accompany me on combating the Sunday night fear with a film sesh and some binge eating that would be great!
The details for the apartment block can be found if you search Alto Apartments Salford.
The address is:
Alto, Sillavan Way, Manchester M3 6GB
I WILL BE DOING VIEWINGS WEEK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS ASAP
If you're interested please get in touch :) Happy house hunting!
