Description

I am looking for a flatmate to share the new apartment I moved into in 2017, in the Wilburn Basin development on the edge of the city centre. My current flat mate is moving out as he is relocating to London for work.

The room is available from the beginning of August, and I would be looking for someone to take it from that date.

The apartment is ideally situated. Within a 5-10 minute walk of the bars and restaurants of Castlefield, a 10 minute walk to Spinningfields, and a 15-20 minute walk to the main shopping areas of the city centre and Deansgate/Oxford Road Stations.

I am advertising a double bedroom with a separate good sized bathroom, for use by you alone. It features a bath with dual shower.

The kitchen/living room is a good size, and quite large by Manchester apartment standards. There is a set of table and chairs, and a sofa, lounge chair and coffee table.

There is a good sized balcony off the living room, which is west facing. So in the summer months you get the sun from mid-day and the sunsets in the evening. The apartment is on the 16th floor, so the views are great!

The bedroom has a good level of storage with two sets of drawers, and a wardrobe.

The complex has a cinema room which is free to use, all you need to do is book a slot.

There is an onsite gym which is free to use for all tenants.

A little bit about myself:

I am a 32 year old professional working as a Structural Design Engineer in the city centre. I am outgoing, friendly and enjoy socialising, going to the gym, trying out different restaurants and nights out at the weekend! My job is quite demanding so I appreciate quiet nights in during the working week, but I'm not adverse to a few occasional beers or glasses of wine!

I am a neat and tidy person, but not obsessively so. I think if there is a mutual respect between flatmates as to cleaning up after your own mess in communal areas, then living together is easy. I take pride in keeping my home tidy, especially seen as it's new flat!

I am looking for a fellow professional to share with. I would like someone who is fun, friendly and has similar interests. It would be great to have a flat mate I could get to know as a friend. I am not looking for someone who would isolate themselves.

The bills are approximately £20 pcm each for water, electricity approximately £30 pcm each, and council tax will be approximately £80 pcm each.

The apartment features Hyperoptic broadband which has a speed of 150Mb/s and costs £19 pcm each.

You would be coming in on the tenancy with me and the Letting Agent will require the deposit and first months rent on signing the contract.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions! :-)
