Flatmate wanted! Old Trafford

Hi! Im currently renting a 1-bed flat and I’m thinking about moving into a 2-bed in the same block. I don’t have the flat yet - I’m just putting some feelers out to see if there’s any interest in joining me!

I like my block and find it’s handy to retail parks and supermarkets - big Tesco, Aldi and M&S football. It’s also a short drive to Trafford centre and you can walk to media city. The flat is about a 6 min walk from Trafford bar tram stop, and 2 stops from deansgate/castlefield, and has a concierge/overnight security.

I’m in no rush to move, I’m more interested in finding the right person to move in with. Ideally, I’d love to find someone I genuinely get on with and could be friends with rather than just sharing a flat 😊

As my current flat came unfurnished, I’d be bringing everything with me which includes sofa, TV, TV unit, dining table, storage, washing machine, hoover etc. You’d be welcome to use all of this, which would be reflected in the rent split. I’d just ask that you look after my stuff as if it was your own! You’d just need to furnish your own bedroom, and you’d have use of the main bathroom all to yourself.

2-beds in my block are currently around £1,300–£1,350 pcm, so based on a 45/55 split, your share would be around £725 pcm (depending on the flat we find) not including bills.

A little bit about me, I’m 29 and work completely remotely, so I’m at home most of the time, although I do like escaping to a café to work every now and then. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, getting coffee/drinks or seeing friends.

I’d ideally like a sociable flat where we’re comfortable hanging out together, whether that’s cooking dinner, watching something, going for a drink or just having a chat after work, but obviously with our own space too.

I’d love to find someone friendly and easy-going who wants more of a friendship than a purely functional flatmate situation.
