Double room in house-share in Old Trafford

Hello, we're looking for a third housemate in a large house in Old Trafford.

The house is a warm, clean and dry terrace with 5 bedrooms (including 2 spare rooms for guests/activities) and two reception rooms. There is also a basement with lots of storage and a rear yard/garden with a brick bbq and firepit and a great plum tree. If you like growing stuff then there's a bath acting as a raised bed. Nice space for outdoor meals and hanging out when the weather is good.

We are, Dermot, Mohamed and a cat. We both work at the universities. We're looking for a considerate yet fun professional who shares our approach to a balance between shared living and personal space. We each like our own space but would also like to be sociable within the house and maybe outside; either sharing meals or getting together to watch a film or enjoying a night out. We mostly get around by bike and between us have 3 bikes and more are welcome.

The house is on Stamford Street near three nice parks, some brilliant local shops (Ayres Road) and a huge ASDA and Aldi. About 15-20 minute walk to town and same toChorlton. We're near several key bus routhes (86, 250, 263, 52) to town and other parts of Manchester. Also 10 minutes away from either the Trafford Bar or Cornbrook metrolink stations.

The room: The available room is a medium sized bedroom overlooking the garden (facing north-east so sunny in the morning). It has a low lying double bed and some shelves and a clothes rail, but if you're looking for an empty room that can be arranged, or if you need more furniture we'd be happy to help you find it in the nearby charity and second hand shops.

Rent and bills: The rent is £250/month and bills are about £75 each (including council tax). The room is available immediately. For stability, we'd prefer a longer term let but we're open a short term let.
