Looking for lodgers for my 2 bedroom house in Prestwich.
-The House
Spacious, clean and bright Victorian terraced house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Prestwich.
There is a small hall leading to a very large open lounge/dining room. The kitchen is at the back of the house and leads out onto a back patio with lots of plants and outdoor storage.
Upstairs the master bedroom is at the front of the house and has a king-size bed, two large wardrobes and black out curtains.
The smaller bedroom is best used as an office or storage, and is unfurnished for the tenants preferred use. It was previously used as a spacious child's bedroom with a single bed.
The bathroom is a good size with a bath and Downton sink unit for storage.
There is a parking space left by neighbours for one car outside the house and then additional parking a few doors up at the end of the cul de sac.
Fibre Optic Wi-Fi throughout the house.
-The Area
Across the road is an entrance to Heaton Park, which is the biggest municipal park in Europe. The house is surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and independent shops.
There is a commercial gym 10 minutes by car or tram. There is also a yoga and pilates studio at the end of the street and Heaton Park parkrun start line is about a 10-minute walk from the house.
-Transport Links
The house is a 10-minute walk to the Heaton Park tram stop which goes into Central Manchester in 12minutes. You can access all city centre stops on the Altrincham line directly from Heaton Park.
There are buses on the main road a 2-minute walk away from the house into town or it’s a 15-minute drive/cycle into Central Manchester.
Although I do not live there I cover a % of the bills. Your portion of the bills per month is £250. A breakdown can be provided (council tax band A).
I would prefer the house to stay pet free however happy to discuss if you have a small, clean, house trained pet.
I'm looking to rent out the house ideally for an initial 3months and then a monthly rolling contract in place but happy to discuss other arrangements.
