Looking for a friendly housemate to share a home!

Hey! My housemate is moving out, so there’s a good-sized double room available in our cozy, relaxed home. The house has a shared bathroom, a comfy living room, a big kitchen (great for cooking!), and a small third room we use as a walk-in closet. The place is close to Prestwich & Heaton Park Metros and there's a bus link to town right out the door. We also have a lovely garden with a greenhouse, and the landlords have been encouraging us to get into gardening—so if you’ve got a green thumb (or want to develop one), that’s a bonus. Plus, we’re just a few minutes from Heaton Park, which is my favourite thing about the area!

Most of the decorations and furniture in the living room belong to my current housemate, so we’ll have a bit of a blank slate to make the space feel like ours.

A bit about me:
I’m originally from Los Angeles, so I make some pretty awesome burritos. I work full-time but usually work from home 2 days a week. I’m clean and tidy but also laid back so I won't be mad if a pot gets left out overnight or something. Hoping to find someone with a similar mindset.

In the evenings, you’ll usually find me cooking (mostly veggie things!), climbing, on a walk, or just chilling on my computer. I love a mix of social time and solo time, and I’d really like to live with someone who’s up for occasional shared meals, a trip to the gym, exploring Heaton Park, or even the odd pub outing.

This is a queer-friendly and generally open-minded space, and I’d love to live with someone who shares those values.
