I’m looking for a friendly, easy-going person to come and live with me and my house-cat in the Heaton Park area of Prestwich. The ideal lodger would be sociable, clean, and respectful of the space. But overall, I want you to feel like you have a home and not just a room. I’m always up for a chat over a brew or sharing a meal from time to time, if that’s your thing.

A bit more about me: I’m Paul, 41, and I’m a co-director of a small IT and UX consultancy firm. I work from home most days, but sometimes travel to see clients. It’s a fairly calm household rather than a party house, but I like to get out and visit friends and family, and I’m often at the cinema. When the mood takes me I enjoy cooking and occasionally have a couple of friends over for a movie night or some board games.

• Shared modern bathroom with separate bath and shower
• Open-plan lounge and dining room with log burner
• Comfortable lounge with large TV - Netflix / Apple TV / Prime Video / Now TV
• All bills and fibre optic broadband included
• On-street parking
• 1x house-cat, Sophie, a very shy British Shorthair

• Great transport links in to Manchester city centre - 8 minute walk to Heaton Park Metrolink and 135 bus route
• Short walk in to Prestwich village for shops, bars and restaurants
• Heaton Park right on the doorstep

• Not suitable for anyone who has pet allergies or doesn’t like cats
• No smoking inside (vaping is fine)
• Sorry but there isn’t suitable secure storage for a bike
