Previous tenant occupied room for circa 4 years so it will need a clean / decorating before it is available for rent. Existing tenant moves out 7 Sep. Hope to have room available from 10/11 Sep.
I am a one property landlord so am picky about my tenants. In return you get a landlord who cares and will try and fix any issues you have ASAP.
This a a double room en-suite room located on ground floor of the house. The house has 3 other tenants - two professionals and one masters student.
I will be limited in my availability this week due to kids returning to school and I would like to clean the room before any viewings.
As you can see from the photos it is currently quite cluttered with the existing tenant’s belongings, as she has been here a number of years and is obviously boxing her stuff up in preparation for moving out.
I always like to have an initial chat by phone to get an idea of who you are and you can see what kind of landlord I am.
The tenancy agreement will be the standard National Residential Landlords Agreement and all documents will be ‘by the book’ so you will get
Assured short hold tenancy - min 6 months
Deposit placed in deposit protection scheme
Electrical safety certification
Gas safety certificate etc
You will need to provide reference from current landlord and evidence of ability to pay e. g. contract of employment/payslips etc
