Great location — less than a 5-minute walk to Oxford Road for buses into town or beyond and within walking distance of the universities and hospitals.

I'm Rachael, a 39 year old professional female. Technically a live-in landlord (and the tenancy will be on a lodger basis) but I work in the South East and am only home for approx 2–3 weeks annually. In practice, you’ll have the entire house to yourself almost all of the time, so this would suit someone who enjoys peace, privacy and lots of space.

About the room / house:

- Large period property over 2 floors. There is a 3rd floor but this is a self-contained flat occupied by David (professional, late 30s). Access to his flat is through the main house staircase, so you will see him in the hall when he's coming and going but he does not share the living space in the house.
- The bedroom is a large furnished double on the ground floor.
- Fully equipped kitchen and dining area
- Large, comfortable living room
- Bathroom is huge but it only has a WC, sink and shower cubicle (no bath I'm afraid)
- Quiet residential street. Driveway parking and lots of on-street parking
- Bills & utilities included (council tax, gas, electricity and water). I don't have broadband/a phone line set up at the house but you would be welcome to install your own connection if you wanted to.

I'm looking for:
A trustworthy, clean and considerate lodger who appreciates a calm, tidy home environment. This would be perfect for a professional or mature student who wants their own space and prefers a quiet household.
