Rusholme room takeover – £162pw, bills inc

Room takeover in a shared student house on Ruskin Avenue, Rusholme. Available from 18 September 2026, tenancy runs to 9 September 2027 (or take over whatever's left if you get in touch later).

This would've been great accommodation. I've signed for this room but my plans have changed, so I'm looking for someone to take it over before the tenancy starts. I've never moved in, so it's a completely fresh room and a clean handover.

The room is a furnished double with a shared bathroom. Rent is £162 per week with bills included (water, gas and electric), and wifi. Great Rusholme location, walking distance to the University of Manchester, on the Wilmslow Road bus routes into both unis, and right by the Curry Mile, Sainsbury's and local shops.

It's a straightforward contract takeover through Homes for Students / UK Student Houses. They handle the paperwork and you'd sign a fresh tenancy directly with them.

I've left the flatmates section fairly empty as I haven't moved in yet and so haven't met them, but they'll be fellow students in the house. Happy to answer any questions. The current photos are all I have.
