Hello 😁 I'm looking for someone to takeover my tenancy for this great double room in Sale, just a 3 minute walk to the Metrolink stop.
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat. All the furniture in the Flat belongs to the other flatmate apart from your bedroom, which is partly furnished. It comes with a couple of drawers, you will need to get your own bed.
Move in date 5th of October, but can be earlier if needed. The current tenancy runs until 31st March, and you could renew the tenancy if you wish.
Council tax is Band A, it works out at £50pp per month. Energy ranges from £60-£80pp per month. Water is billed every 6 months and is about £200 a year.
Internet is with Virgin Media and is £40ppm. Finally there is off-street parking and a locked garage.
The location is really great, it's 1 minute from 4/5 restaurants, 2/3 takeaways, a Rudy's Pizza Sale, Wetherspoons, some great coffee shops, including Grapefruit which is voted the best in Manchester (I agree). And 10 minutes walk to Sale town centre where there's a refurbished shopping centre called Stanley Square where there's loads of new bars and restaurants. Sale town centre has an Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Wilko's, Boots, Superdrug, Costa, Greggs and more. The Metrolink is only 10 minutes from Altrincham and 20-30 minutes to Town depending the time.
About the current flatmate:
I'm a 30 year old single straight guy. I'm a Sound Engineer around venues in town and festivals all over the UK. I have a mix of late night and early day work, and from summer to early autumn I expect to be working around 5-8 festivals where I'll leave the flat for around 4/5 days at a time.
I'm very laid back but I like to keep things relatively clean and tidy, at worst I leave some mess that I'll fix later that day. Not a fan of shoes in the flat though cause it's all carpeted. I leave them outside the flat on a shoe rack, the neighbours do the same as there's only 2 flats per floor, six total in the building and we are all friendly.
I have a small home studio in my bedroom,
I'm into gym, health, cooking, coffee, drinking and meeting friends, football, TV/film, travelling, music (of course).
I've been trying to fill this room through various mates but things haven't lined up that way.
Really my only MUSTS are that you're about as clean and tidy as me, and you and your visitors have respect for my things that we share, like the TV and Sofa (I own everything but the fridge). I'm mostly precious about the sofa cause it was 💰
