Large double, near CC, media city & salford royal

The house is a large victorian semi with a big park opposite (great for keeping fit!) if you take the large bedroom you'll have a brand new double bed and new mattress, large wardrobe, drawers and desk. The bathroom is opposite (powerful shower and underfloor heating) and there is also an extra toilet downstairs. The regular size double room has a bed, large wardrobe, drawers and and small desk. The bathroom will be shared by yourself and one other person as my room has ensuite. There is a large kitchen with island and breakfast bar seating. We have a log burner which is great during winter! 2 living room areas. There is also a patio area and a garden with sun loungers that is not overlooked which is great during summer. We have plenty of free parking with a driveway that can accommodate up to 4 cars.

This is not a party house so if that is what you're looking for it’s not for you.

My other housemate has been here over 10 years but is sadly moving out after buying her own home. You’ll probably still meet her though as she’s only round the corner and we’ve become great friends over that time.
I like the house to feel more like friends living together than just housemates as I feel it’s nicer for everyone that way. I'd say I’m 50/50 with how much time I spend on my own and socialising.

A bit about me: Into all things fitness. Season ticket holder at Man Utd. Love to travel and have worked abroad in the past. Love a good comedy, friends, the traitors, film night. Also into true crime documentaries. Like a good day out, walk, hiking etc. all the usual things. Currently trying to start my own online business.

The house is close to all the major bus routes and metrolink. It's close to Media city and Salford Royal. Tesco, Aldi and Lidl are only a 5-10 minute walk. The city centre is 8-10 drive and easy to get in on public transport too (I've walked into the centre in 50 minutes before now).

I need someone who is clean & tidy as it just won't work if you're not. We'll probably start a group clean one day a week to clean all the shared spaces together. I imagine that should only take 1 or 2 hours with 3 of us doing it.
Would also prefer someone who doesn’t work from home full time. 1 or 2 days a week is fine but would prefer no more than that.

Probably should also say we are a shoes off household. And also STRICTLY no smoking/e-cigs, so genuine non smokers only please!

I also pet sit (not very often) so there are sometimes cats or a dog in the house. This isn't very often at all though nowadays. Maybe a few weeks of the year. I would consider someone with a pet though since the cat/dog sitting is rare.

For some reason when I view this advert it says total number of rooms is 4. it is not. there are only 3 bedrooms.

If you’re a couple looking for a room then I can offer the large room for £1200 and take the other room off so you’d have the bathroom to yourselves.
