My flatmate is going travelling next year and i'm looking for someone to take over her contract.

I’m very flexible with the move in date as my flatmate is moving back home and is happy to leave asap if someone wanted to move in earlier. The contract officially ends on 21st September and my plan is to renew this with whoever moves in but if someone needed to move in between now and then you could simply just pay her half until the new contract begins. We can also sort out deposits etc as well. Basically whatever is easiest!

The flat is by regent road roundabout and it takes about 30 minutes to walk into town. The closest tram stop is anchorage which is a 10 minute walk away and there are bus stops nearby if needed but I usually walk everywhere.

Regent Road retail park is also a 10-15 minute walk away.

Breakdown is -

Rent - £600
Electric - £56
Wifi - £13
Council tax - £64.50 (Band A)
Water - none due to the layout of the building! This is an office block converted into flats which means the building management cover the water bills as there’s no way to separate usage between flats.

A parking space is also included in the rent. If you need the parking space it’s all yours but I would ask that you pay a little more each month for using this 24/7.

All in rent and bills currently come to £733.50 a month each.

Your room comes with a double bed, 2 bed side tables with x2 drawers in each and a wardrobe that also has x2 big drawers at the bottom.

Kitchen has all the appliances - microwave, toaster and kettle already here. There’s also a washer/dryer.

There is only one bathroom so this will be shared with me.

I love staying in to watch films or read and enjoy chilling during the week after work. A trip to the pub or cinema after work is always welcome though! I’m very clean and tidy so i'd like whoever I live with to be the same. I enjoy my own space but I’ve always became friends with the people I live with and enjoy cooking together the odd time, going to the pub, watching tv etc. I prefer my home to be somewhere cosy and peaceful so I’m not massively into hosting or having parties here but having people round sometimes is always fun.

I wfh 2/3 days a week otherwise I’m in the office. There is room in the bedroom for a desk if you also wfh.
