Moving abroad in September and need someone to replace me as a tenant until the 16th of March 2025.
Double room with juliette balcony available, 3 bed terrace with one en-suite room and two bedrooms sharing a bathroom with bath/shower. Also has a downstairs toilet.
House has a shared living room and kitchen/dining room with patio doors looking onto a secluded and quiet garden, as well as a garage and parking availability. 10-15 minutes walk from Cornbrook tram stop and a similar walk to Deansgate locks via canalside route. A J. W. Lees pub is around the corner, as well as a co-op express around 3-4 minutes walk away and around 10 minutes to Regent Road Sainsbury's and retail park. The street is a cul-de-sac with a mixture of families, young professionals and students and the neighbourhood is tolerant and accepting- you won't be expected to exist in silence, but people don't start their lawnmowers ridiculously early either.
The current flatmates and I have known each other for years and the atmosphere is relaxed and chill. We have hobbies and cook meals together which saves a fair bit on food costs.
The wifi is very good, the house is new and well-insulated and we have a very sociable cat called Arnold. This room is ideal for someone who either has just moved to Manchester and wants to make new friends or an existing resident looking for a shorter term (ish) place to live. Including all bills, the general living cost per calendar month comes to about £630-£650 depending on energy usage and the season. The council tax band is B, which is £151 pcm, split evenly between 3 people comes to £50.33 (included in the previous bills estimate).
