Hi, I’m Emily and I’m looking for a new flatmate for my 2 bed 2 bath flat in Salford.
My current flatmate is looking to move out on the first week in May with the rent being paid on the 6th of the Month (06/05/25). The tenancy is currently on a monthly rolling basis however I am looking for a long-term flatmate preferably 6 months minimum.
The flat is in Salford M7 close to Peel Park and a 20-minute walk (or 10-minute bus) into town. It is within walking distance of multiple parks, shops (including a Lidl) and PureGym and has free street parking – or a locked car park for an additional £50 a month.
You will have your own double room with en-suite bathroom as well as access to a shared kitchen/living area and south facing balcony. The flat is on the first floor although this is elevated so we are above street level. The flat is fully furnished and your room comes with a large mirrored wardrobe, 2 bedside drawers and a double bed. The en-suite also has a bath/shower. The flat is already decorated however I love plants, trinkets, prints etc. and will be able to find a home for any of your belongings you’d like to bring! Bonus points if you have an airfryer as our current one will be leaving with my flatmate. The kitchen also has a big fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher and there is a communal garden at the end of the road for tenants.
Rent is £570 paid on the 6th of the month and is approx £743 with all bills and council tax making it really affordable compared to a lot of properties in Manchester at the moment.
You would be living with me and my 2 year old Maltipoo Peanut. He can be a little barky sometimes but makes up for it with his cuteness and cuddles. He’s also hypoallergenic meaning there isn’t dog hair everywhere which is a plus! Unfortunately he doesn’t love other dogs/cats so I’d be cautious about bringing one into his space.
A bit about me – I’m 26 and have lived in Manchester for 3 years. I am self-employed and work from home but I am more than happy to share the space with someone else who works from home/hybridly. I like to keep the space clean and tidy so would need someone on the same page (although as I work from home, I do most of the communal cleaning). I like to spend time in the evenings in the living room and love a good thriller or limited series (but I’m also a sucker for trash reality TV like love island). I’m past the point of going out every single weekend but I do still love to go out for a drink or the occasional rave and sometimes have friends over, which you’d be welcome to do too! I also enjoy the gym, hiking and going for brunch/coffee. I’m also currently in my baking era so will have lots of fresh bakes for you to enjoy. If this sounds like you, I’d love to meet and chat.
