Looking for new flatmate in September 2025

So after meeting my current flatmate on here and both moving into this apartment back in November 2023, he will be moving back to Australia in September. We’ve had two great years living in the city, travelled a lot and had plenty of nights out in town and would now consider him to be one of my best mates.

Looking for someone to move in around the start of September (the lease renews in November). Looking for someone who’s clean, easy going, social, and enjoys going out for drinks! We’re both quite social people, so if you’re a hermit constantly in your room then you’re probably not the type of room mate for me. That being said obviously everyone does need their space aswell and I’m respectful of that. I’m absolutely fine with you having friends and family over and staying at the flat, we do this occasionally and we’ve never had issues.

The current flat is always clean and we both keep on top of it well - there’s no pettyness if a couple of dishes are left out and the others forgot, we’ll just do them.

I work outside the city as a firefighter and work shifts, so there’ll always be a minimum of two nights a week where I’ll be away from the flat and you’ll have it to yourself. There’s a roof terrace on our floor, which is a sun trap and great in summer, we often have friends round for drinks on there when the weathers decent and will sometimes have a few around at the flat also. I’d say I’m looking for a similar living arrangement to my current one, someone who I’d consider a mate aswell as a flatmate.
