Description
The available bedroom compared to most 2 bed flats is a very generous size, has capacity for a large corner unit wardrobe fitting two double wardrobes, although whilst the room is furnished it is without a wardrobe. The view from the window is nice.
The flat has a parking space available in locked parking lot. That could be utilised by you alone for an extra £50 per month. With access to self store units, if needed, a 5-10 minute drive away too.
The flat is within a 5 minute walk of Regent retail park, with access to JD Gym, large Sainsbury’s and other outlets. We also have a Co-op connected to the apartment complex.
Depending on your pace, the flat is a 10-15 minute walk into spinningfields mostly along the canal, which is great as a morning commute. It is also max 10 minutes into castlefield and deansgate. The nearest tram stop is Cornbrook (approx. 5-10min walk depending on pace) which means access into deansgate, media city, and pretty much anywhere you want to go including the airport. In terms of driving distance Trafford and Trafford retail park are a 5-10min drive away. And Trafford centre does not take too long to get to either. But equally with cornbrook all of those locations are a short tram journey away.
The shared spaces consist of a separate hallway with shoe rack, large bathroom, with shower/bath. And large kitchen/dining/living room space with large aspect window looking out onto Manchester skyline. There is also a large communal rooftop terrace/garden, with great views of the city on our floor (6th floor). And on the 1st floor an even larger communal outdoor space.
In terms of appliances. I have provided a good communal tv, and there is a proper sized Dishwasher, a washing machine and partial dryer, and in built full length fridge and freezer. As well as oven and 4 ring hob. Kettle, toaster. Internet is 900mb at £44 per month, and would be part of utilities costs going halves, if obviously you intend to use it. Council tax would be £180 total, so £90 each. Just paid the quarterly water bill. So won’t have to worry for 3 months. But the expectation would be that we go halves on next month’s bill. The electricity bill, Octopus are currently charging £100 per month, which means I have some credit for future winter provision, but would expect to go halves on subsequent bills. Hopefully this all sounds reasonable.
