Description
Double room available in 11th floor flat from 06/11/25.
My current flatmate is moving out so we are looking for someone to take over her tenancy as we begin our new contract. Our contracted tenancy period begins 06/11/25 and lasts for 1 year with the option to renew once the year is up. We have signed our new agreement but unfortunately my current flatmate is now having to move home so her room is now becoming available.
The room itself is a furnished double room with a double bed with underbed storage, 2x side tables, and a built in double door wardrobe. With the room you'll have full exclusive use of the flat's large main bathroom that comes with a bath and plenty of cupboard storage. The shared living space and kitchen is open plan and fully furnished with all the necessary appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. We also have a balcony that overlooks the square of the building complex but in case you're as afraid of heights as I am, there is also a communal courtyard on the second floor which gets the afternoon sun.
The building also has a 24hr reception, a gym, a bin shoot, parcel collection, and a really helpful maintenance team. The building is very secure and all of the staff are really lovely.
The location is excellent with Salford Central station situated directly next door, Deansgate a 5 minute walk away, and Market Street only 15 minutes in the other direction so you truly get the city centre experience with the benefit of Salford prices. Peel park is a short walk away towards the University of Salford, there are plenty of bus services to get around the city right on the door step, and there are loads of bars, restaurants, and corner shops at your fingertips.
Breaking down expenses, the rent is £785 per month, WiFi is included however other bills are not. Currently our Council tax works out at £91pp (Band C), and all other utility bills come very close to around £25pp each month.
A little about me, my name is Bella, I'm 22 and originally come from Scotland, however I studied at University in Manchester so it has really become home for me over the last 5 years.
I studied Fashion Design & Technology at Manchester Metropolitan and now work as an Assistant Apparel Designer for a sportswear brand. I work Monday-Thursday in the office and from home on a Friday but through our busy period form November-December I will be working from the office 5 days a week.
In my spare time I am always available for a drink or a night out because as a good Scottish person alcoholism runs through my veins but I also go to adult gymnastics classes twice a week because I refuse to give into the notion that I reached by athletic peak as a 16 year old Trampolinist!
I'm very open minded so please reach out if you are interested in chatting or arranging a viewing, perks of living with me personally include access to my staff discount at work, stimulating conversation, and excess of anything I bake as I do love to cook but really need to calm it down on the eating. I'm also trans so please be chill.
I do have both a full walk through video of the flat and of the building reception/gym, I just can't seem to figure out how to upload both so please reach out and ask to see them.
