Room available near MediaCity

Hi All,

My housemate is moving into a new place with his partner, so his room is going to be available from the 20th of January 2026.

About the Flat:
The house is a two storey flat located right behind Langworthy tram stop on the Eccles line and a fifteen minute walk from MediaCity, so would be well suited for anyone working in the area.
A spacious, furnished room with a double bed. There’s a large living room downstairs and cozy kitchen with a gas stove and washing machine.
One shared bathroom.
Gets tonnes of natural light and has a gated car park out back with a small garden area at the front. Council Tax band B.
No animals allowed (regretfully) and no smokers.
With bills included rent typically about £650-675 a month.

About Me:
I’m a 32 year old Australian who’s lived in Manchester for three years now. I work full-time in MediaCity but my hours vary week by week, so I often end up working nights. I’m someone who likes spending time on my own so am looking for someone similar but it would be nice to occasionally have dinner together or even potentially a movie night. I’m generally very low-key and like a reasonably calm and quiet house. I’m an enormous movie lover and play video games when I’ve got the time, so hope to find someone with similar interests. I’m a very clean and tidy person and would be looking for someone who’s the same - basic things like wiping down kitchen surfaces after you’ve used them and not leaving dishes by the sink for too long.

You’d be picking up the lease from my current housemate, so the room is available from the 20th of January 2026 with a contract until September 2026 and the option to renew. Hoping to be seeing people for viewings from the 13th to the 19th of December - if needed we can do later than that, but I’m aware that gets into the holiday period.
