I’m looking for a friendly, clean and considerate flatmate to share a brand new 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment at Oldfield Wharf, just off Chapel Street. The move-in date is 29 July, and it’s only a 15-minute walk into Manchester city centre.
Your room:
* Double bedroom with a king-size bed
* Built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage
* Your own private bathroom (not shared)
*Extra storage space in the living room
The apartment & building:
* Brand new development
* Spacious open-plan kitchen/living area
* Juliette balcony
* Residents’ gym
* Concierge
* Co-working space
* Residents’ lounge
* Outdoor courtyard
Rent: £740pcm (excluding bills)
Bills are expected to be around £170 per month, including council tax, utilities and Wi-Fi.
A little about me:
I’m moving to this side of town to be closer to my new job and have happily lived with flatmates for the past three years. I’d love to find someone who’s clean, respectful and easy to live with. During the week I like to keep things fairly quiet after around 10pm because of work, but I’d also love to live with someone I can also be friends with and who’s up for a chat when we see each other. I love making the home a cosy space to unwind after work, and in my spare time, enjoy going to the gym, hiking, meditating, doing crafts/ trying new hobbies, seeing friends and occasionally going out for drinks/ food.
Please note: The building requires applicants to meet a combined household income of at least £45,000 per year to pass affordability checks. This means you’ll need to earn a minimum of £15,000 per year. Unfortunately, the building does not accept personal guarantors.
To reserve the apartment, there is a £100 holding fee per person, which will be deducted from your first month’s rent if our reference checks are successful.
You’ll also be be able to choose between:
* A 1 week’s rent non-refundable deposit, or
* A 5 weeks’ rent refundable security deposit.
