Description
AVAILABLE NOW! Flatmate has moved out. Available to move in immediately.
£637.50 pcm + around £130 bills (Wifi, Council tax, Water, Electricity) | Flatmate wanted
I’m looking for a flatmate to join me in my 2-bed flat at Maritime Court, Salford Quays (Dock 5).
The room is a good sized ensuite bedroom in a furnished apartment. The room itself doesn’t come with a mattress, but everything else is pretty much ready to go, including a TV.
The flat & building:
The building has some really nice facilities, including:
* 🏋️ Residents’ gym included
* 🎬 Cinema room
* 🛎️ Concierge
* 🌿 Courtyard/outdoor space
*🔒Parcel lockers
* 🐶 Dogs welcome
* 📺 TV included
* 🛋️ Furnished apartment
* 🛒 Tesco directly underneath the building
* 🏳️🌈 LGBTQ+ friendly household
Rent is £637.50 a month, with bills averaging around £130 on top.
References will be required.
Getting around 🚋
The flat is really well connected. Cornbrook tram stop is close by, so getting into Manchester city centre is easy — it’s roughly 10–15 minutes by tram, depending on where you’re heading.
There’s also the 30 bus service, which connects the area with Manchester city centre, Salford Quays, Trafford Park and the Trafford Centre.
A bit about me 👋
I’m a young professional working in lettings, and I’m hoping to find someone who wants more of a friendly, sociable flatshare rather than just two people who happen to live together.
I’m quite a mix of introvert and extrovert.
I love a night out and going for food or drinks, but I’m also very happy having a chilled night in. I enjoy writing, reading, going to the cinema (I have an Odeon cinema pass!), watching films and generally finding new things to do. I also have raging adhd so there will probably be plenty of random conversations and interests thrown into the mix ahaha.
Ideally, I’d love to live with someone where we can genuinely become friends and spend time together, whether that’s going out for food, going to the cinema, having a drink, watching something at home or just having a chat after work — while obviously still having our own space and independence.
The flat is LGBTQ+ friendly and dog-friendly and I’d really like it to feel like a comfortable, relaxed and welcoming home for both of us.
If you think we’d get along, send me a message with a little bit about yourself, what you do and what you’re looking for in a flatshare <3
