Description
Looking for a beautiful place to live in a great location with cool people?
We’re looking for someone to move in quickly. A mature student research student PHE student or office worker/professional (not suitable for shift workers.)
We are looking for a new flat-mate. I recently moved into an amazing designer house in a quiet street newr central Salford. Super convenient.
Its a three bedroom house, so there will be three of us in total. Two bedrooms downstairs. One upstairs. Share bathroom, living room, patio, kitchen.
Ideally looking for a professional or mature student. Male / lgbtq preferred. The room is available now and we want someone serious about moving in asap or at least by 1st Feb.
Come round and have a chat! No video viewings- meet us in person :-)
About me
I’m a friendly, easy-going, fairly neat and tidy (not perfect) academic - training to be a psychotherapist in my free time. I love cycling and I’m a pretty good cook. I like my own space sometimes, but I like to hang out together other times too!
I’m funny and kind. I’ll probably make you laugh at the times. I’m pretty young at heart. I’m also late diagnosed ADHD so I’m a bit quirky and scatterbrained at times.
I am really looking forward to getting some nice flatmates, especially since I’m new to Salford. Happy to live with local people, but I’ve also lived abroad a lot and had lots of international flatmates (when I lived in London). I really enjoy living with people from other cultures.
I can speak Korean and English. I used to vape, but now I’ve stopped. I like the odd martini but I don’t drink much nowadays. I still like to boogie around the living room to bad 90s disco on Friday evening. In the summer I do a lot of cycling, in the winter I dream about going to the gym. I commute to work a couple of days a week and I work at home a couple of days a week. I’m a bit of a night owl. And probably watch too many Korean dramas.
About the Room -
Double room £595 per calendar month
This small double room has loads of built-in wardrobe space, a small double bed, bookcase, desk and chest of drawers.
About the house - shared space
The house is in the Chimney Pot Park Estate might look old because the original front of the building was built in 1908. But they were all completely renovated gutted on the inside and completely Rebuilt just 16 years ago. There’s an amazing design with the two bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor, while on the first floor there’s the huge open plan living room dining room with cool high ceilings, which ends with the French windows that open onto the patio - where there’s a lovely little garden. This is a great place to have breakfast and hang out when we get some sunshine.
My bedroom on the first floor off the living room. I think it’s gonna work out very well having your bedroom on my bedroom on different floor so that we all get a bit of privacy!
Transport and amenities.
This is a super convenient location. I just can’t believe how great it is.
It’s just a couple of minutes walk to the big Tesco superstore, Salford precinct, JD Gym, all the buses, and Aldi. Lidl is literally one minute away. There’s a little park at the end of the street and Seedly Park is just a five minutes walk. You could walk to Suffolk Crescent station in about 10 minutes and get to Salford University easily. Media City and Salford Quays is a 20-25 minutes walk, while Langford tram stop for trams going into central Manchester. Is jist a fee minutes walk!
About you?
Well, I’ve told you about myself, but really you can’t tell much about me until we meet in person. Same for you too, right? I am happy to live with gay or straight is totally fine. Ideally people who work, but students can be okay too (esp graduate or research students). Non smoke, sane(ish), sober, etc. No Trump supporters lol. Free Palestine ok!
But at the end of the day, who you are as a person is a lot more important than my ideal Flat mate tick list. So if I sound like someone who you wouldn’t mind living with them if you like the flat and the location please feel free to just drop me a line and let’s meet up and chat.! Nothing set in stone i’m pretty happy to meet any cool people.
I’ve lived on three continents, so I’m very open to international flatmates. Its always nice learning about other peoples cultures.
Setting up a new home together
Since I’m moving to a new place really everything is quite flexible and it’s a new adventure setting up a new home for yourself and since I’m gonna be getting flatmates I’td really like to kind of like that so that we kind of build a home that we’re going to use our shared space than just people moving into my house. Does that make sense?
Okay, I think that’s loads for me. If you got any questions just let me know. Just text me a message or send me your number and I’ll call you.
The Council Tax (BAND b) Included in rent.
