Not just a room - seeking a paying guest who feels at home, not a tenant. If you are seeking just a room, perhaps this is not for you.

✅GUEST: Current guest (going back to New Zealand) and past guest (moved in with Home Country friend) both happy to chat / meet with you.😀

✅ME: I am an Aussie 🐨, University Lecturer, Author and a Business Consultant who works from home and on campus. Like to work smart and travel extensively as well as enjoy a good discussion and good food.

✅WHY: My housemate had to fly back to Australia due to family emergency. Subsequently will not be returning for at least another 12 months at this stage, perhaps a little longer. It would help us if you would just cover her share.♥️

✅PROFESSIONALS ONLY: No students / benefits.

✅AVAILABILITY: 12th October, 2025 - payment due before 8th October

✅PERIOD: Minimum preferably six months to 12 months, perhaps a tad more.

✅AREA: Media City opposite Pret coffee, Salford Quays - Manchester.

✅CONTRIBUTION / FEE - £875 incl. bills.
You just supply your food and toiletries.

✅DEPOSIT: £450

✅RATED: Council Tax Band D. (All bills included)

✅CLEANING: a private cleaner is included as are all laundry and household products,

✅YOUR WORK: Professional who works full time out of home or the occasional day WFH. Not suitable for full time WFH.

✅APARTMENT: Well appointed corner apartment (larger than most). My home has a lovely view, over Media City, just opposite Pret. Huge comfy sofa, LOR coffee machine (decaf coffee pods included). Fast Hyperoptic broadband and you will be in a gated community, with 24 hour Concierge/Security who also kindly take parcels🌟

✅ROOM: Fully furnished very comfortable double bed with good quality deep mattress. Lots of lovely pillows, sheets and 10.5 duvet & velvet cover or new 4.5 tog duvet & new duvet cover. Good amount of storage with wardrobe, and drawers. The room is compact and has modern white desk & chair as well as black out curtains.

✅BATHROOM: Your own separate large, private bathroom including a lovely bath. Additional white storage cabinet. Thick towels, and toilet paper also included.

✅TRANSPORT: Very regular bus & trams (every 13 minutes or so) are opposite the apartment at Media City, Salford Quays, less than 15 minutes to the heart of Manchester or Trafford Centre.

✅CAR SPACE INFO: There are a number of long term car parks and paid cars spots that can be found in the area- approx £100 to £200 per month. There may be a possibility of the car space, will know more in October and it will be an additional charge.

✅AREA: Pleasing area with outstanding views of the canals, ongoing events, running clubs, Virgin gym, water sports centre, local markets, nice bars, Lowry theatre, Vue cinema, quality coffee shops, street food outlets, Co-Op & Sainsbury’s and restaurants are all just about opposite.

✅YOU: You are a professional who is trustworthy, excellent communicator, well mannered and respectful. You enjoy a laugh, cleanliness (no plates in sink) and perhaps sharing an occasional meal yet conscious of our space, peace & quiet and alone time.
