Description
The flat/room:
- Double bed room with an open wardrobe area & lots of shelving, as well as two bedside cabinets
- Has a large bathroom ensuite, with a bath, shower & heated radiator
- Shared open plan living area with large windows and we have a huge TV
- Modern kitchen with induction hob, all appliances already included but you're welcome to add your own
- Washing machine & dryer in utility cupboard
- Available from 8th May
I moved into this apartment 3 years ago with my current flatmate Sarah who is now sadly leaving. Prior to us it had only 1 previous occupant so it's all still new and modern and looked after!
The building:
- Two free coffee machines you can use whenever, with coffee/tea/hot chocolate, etc.
- A residents' lounge on the roof, which has a co-working/chillout space, a gym, a roof terrace with a great view, a small running track and a garden which is lovely to sit in in the summer
- Weekly events for residents, such as yoga, gym classes, craft events, market stalls and more
- A studio area with spin bikes, yoga mats and a big TV with fitness classes on
- Does have secure parking available at cost. I think it's around £150 per month, but if you drive I do know plenty of free parking spots nearby where I actually leave my own car
- Pet-friendly! We have had cats here previously and I would love to have another cat or dog to befriend! I'd even take them out for walks :)
The flatmate:
- Me!
- I mostly work from home but there is more than enough room for you if you do so too
- I am pretty easy-going, happy for you to use whatever of mine in the flat
- I like a mix of chill time and socialising, would be nice if you'd be similar and I'd hope we could become friends as well as flatmates!
Bills are not included but you're looking at:
- £96.50 monthly for council tax
- electric varies, it averages around £150 monthly but over Winter with the heating on it did creep up to £200. So you would be paying between say £70-£100 per month.
- £37 for water
- £17.50 each for broadband
So in total they come to around £200-250 per month each which is kind of standard.
Drop me a message if you have any questions! Thanks!
