Large Double Room available in 2-bed house

Hello, I'm advertising a large double bedroom with a king-sized bed, desk, chair and wardrobe in Heaton Norris, Stockport.

The room's in a 2-bed terraced house with a shared dining room, kitchen, bathroom and secluded back garden (with a tiny veg patch!). The house is close to the A6 and M60, so a 15 minute drive to the main hospitals and Manchester Airport. For commuters, it's a 15 minutes walk to the trainline to Manchester and 20 minutes walk to Stockport train station (for London and beyond). It's a friendly neighborhood and also close to a supermarket; Stockport town centre is a 15 minute walk away.

I'm 40yo, work in education and I work at home 2-3 days a week. In the evenings I cook and listen to music, go to yoga classes, or read, and I like a laugh too! I alternate weekends between the house and my other half's place, so at weekends we can sometimes be around and sometimes you have the place to yourself. When I've got the time, I love gardening, walking, art exhibitions and good food.

It's a quiet place to live (I do have 6music on when I'm around, but keep the volume down!) and I'm mindful of balancing chatting and checking-in with privacy. I'm looking for someone friendly, respectful and easy going, who's happy to help to keep the house clean and tidy, and have a brew and a catch-up from time to time.
