Double room in nice neighbourhood

Hey Folks,

I'm looking for a lodger to share my home with. I'm open to short or long term and flexible on the move-in date.

The room is a double bed room overlooking the back garden, fully furnished (extra wardrobe provided in the other spareroom) with a new bed and mattress.

The house has plenty of space with a communal lounge, kitchen, extension and garden. The lounge has a TV, PS4 and Switch. The kitchen is quite large, including a fridge freezer, washing machine and most importantly the dishwasher! There's plenty of parking space on the drive and further space through the garden gates. This is a smoke free, pet free house (but I'd certainly consider a housemate with a hypoallergenic pooch!). All bills included (gas, electric, water, broadband, council tax)

The house is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. There's plenty of green spaces nearby, a pub 15 mins walk away and only 15 mins walk to the Davenport train station. The station has parking available, with journeys to Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly only 5 mins and under 20mins respectively. Davenport high street has plenty of small shops, a few restaurants and a highly rated cafe and bar. In terms of food shopping, there's a Lidl just a 5 mins drive away. There's a Muay Thai and MMA gym nearby and a pure gym just 10mins drive away (which also has another Lidl opposite it!)

I work from home most days, in the office 1 or 2 days a week. I'm pretty social and appreciate a good stout, but can understand when people are tired after work and may just want to be left alone! I'm quite active (when I'm not injured), regularly gymming and going for hikes on nice days. I wind down by playing video games, bingeing on series or, when I'm feeling a bit more disciplined, reading. I like to cook, mostly trying to be healthy.

Id like the lodger to be clean, friendly and social as I'd like us to be pals rather than just people Iiving within the same four walls! So if you're interested, please get in touch.
