Large double room in Edgeley mid terrace

Hi! I’ve got a large converted cellar bedroom available to rent in in Edgeley, Stockport from the end of August/start of September.

THE HOUSE

Is currently in the process of being redecorated after I moved in in April, so parts are slightly rough round the edges, but the spacious cellar bedroom has been finished, and there's a brand new bathroom. There's also a shared kitchen, living room and dining room - they're next on the list to be redecorated later this year, but are all very cosy at the moment. Living room has a 60" LED TV with all the apps, and the kitchen has brand new washing machine, tumble dryer, gas cooker, fridge and freezer. There's also central heating all over - and bills are included. There's a small garden to rear which gets the sun in the afternoon. The house has 900mpbs super fast broadband.

THE ROOM is super spacious and includes a double bed with SIMBA mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers. There's enough room for a desk if you work from home.

THE AREA is really nice! There's a park literally across the road (Alexandra Park) which has a very cute coffee shop, and a lovely little pub at the end of the steeet. Stockport Train Station and Stockport Interchange Bus Station are both a ten minute walk, so you can be in Manchester City Centre super quickly, and there's on street parking if you drive.

I'm 34 and work in communications at The University of Manchester. I'm pretty chill, like the odd night out although less so these days now I'm renovating a house! I've lived with housemates on and off for the last few years, some of whom are now really close friends.

YOU will ideally be similar in age, a working professional, chilled out, clean, and have experience of flat sharing before. I’m looking for someone who’ll want to hang out a bit as well as just live together, although obviously respectful of each others space.
