Double room in Davenport

Double room available in a first-floor flat in Davenport. It's a lovely location, ideal for someone working at Stepping Hill Hospital. It's a few minutes' walk from Davenport train station, where you can catch a direct train to Stockport (5 mins) or Manchester Piccadilly (20 mins) or the Peak District (45 mins).

The room is a double room with a triple-built in wardrobe. The flat is lovely and spacious with lots of natural light. There's a Google smart speaker in there at the moment but I can get rid of it if that's not your thing. There's a shared lounge, kitchen (both newly renovated), a garage and bathroom with a tub. There are communal gardens behind the building. There are a few parking spaces on the property and plenty of on-street parking too.

The flat's pretty low-maintenance: the appliances are all new (including the boiler), there's gas central heating and a robot vacuum-cleaner that takes care of most dust. It's well-insulated, so it stays warm during the winter. The kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven & hob, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, kettle & toaster. The lounge has a TV (inc Netflix, Apple TV+, Now TV and Disney+), an electric piano and a Nintendo Switch.

The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy, with some nice pubs, bars, cafes and gyms nearby, and lots of supermarkets in Hazel Grove not far away.

I work from home, although my schedule varies so I'm usually away one or two days a week on average. I'm away 3 or 4 evenings a week. My partner brings his Airedale terrier around a few nights a week; she's very friendly and spends most of her time staring out of the window at foxes.
