I’m looking to rent 2 large double bedrooms in my Victorian terrace in Stockport.
Bedroom 1 is at the front with 2 windows overlooking residential street.
King sized bed, bedside drawers and fitted wardrobes with oodles of storage space.
Bedroom 2 is situated at the rear of the house overlooking the garden, it’s quiet and has a lot of natural light with wooden floors. There is a small wardrobe (I’m happy to provide if required) or you can bring your own. There is a large set of drawers.
Space for a desk & chair if required.
This is a large 3 bed Victorian mid-terrace house with south facing garden. Large light and bright kitchen with dishwasher and washer dryer, large fridge freezer and gas hob/ electric oven plus an air fryer, coffee machine and all kitchen equipment available to use (even a fondue set)
Large dining room with dining room table with space to seat 6.
There is a large separate front room / lounge with sofa and armchair with wooden floors, traditional open fire, TV, books and WiFi throughout with boosters to reach every corner of the property.
There is a shared bathroom with toilet, sink and large walk in rainfall shower with loads of storage too. Sorry no bath!
I am taking a career break and travelling and whilst this remains my home and my base, I will be away so essentially you’ll have the house to yourself.
It’s imperative that I trust that whoever lives here will treat my home with respect and as their own. This does include two very important jobs; watering the plants and (unless he gets adopted) feeding my goldfish, Scully!
Yes it’s a room rental but I want you to feel at home using the shared space. I am looking for responsible, considerate and tidy adults who can look after the house as their own.
Your space is your own space but shared areas need to be kept tidy and cleaned regularly. There is a collection of cleaning equipment (handheld Dyson, Henry and steam mop)
It’s a lovely home on a nice street nestled between Stockport and Manchester.
My neighbours are my friends they have a key to my house. It’s not quite like Coronation St but we all look out for each other and I’d like them to know that whoever lives here will be friendly and respectful.
There is plenty of safe, on street parking and shops, bars, takeaways (some good some bad) beauticians, hairdressers, several gyms and supermarkets all within walking distance.
Bus stop is literally metres away and buses run to Stockport and Manchester every 10 minutes until the early hours.
Reddish North station is a 7 minute walk and trains run frequently to Manchester and across to the Peak District and beyond. The house has easy access to the M60 and Manchester airport is a short drive away.
The garden is lovely in the summer and there is a large table with bench and chairs to use along with a BBQ and a sun lounger for those occasional heatwaves.
I have a small shed but this will be locked. Plenty of space for bikes and access through a rear gate (this is padlocked and code will be shared) so you can access.

If you’re looking to live mostly on your own then this is an ideal option.
I’d consider a single person, a couple or two friends but ideally no strangers as I’d prefer one rental agreement only. However, I’ve had interest from solo folk so drop me a DM and we can chat.

I would prefer a minimum 3 month agreement then rolling month by month onwards.
I would prefer references and 1 month deposit ahead of moving in with an agreement for a standing order on day 1 then ongoing on a monthly basis. We can sign a friendly tenancy agreement so we’re clear of terms from the outset.
Rent includes gas/electric, water, council tax (Band A) broadband & basic household insurance. If you own a mega expensive bike or a Rolex watch collection you’ll need your own insurance.
