Spacious double room in Edgeley - Pet Lovers only

We’re renting out a recently redecorated, furnished double room in our cosy two-bed home in Edgeley while we travel.

Sharing the home with 1 male, 1 dog and 1 cat.

The room is fully furnished, has a clothes rail, 2 sets of drawers, carpeted floor, shoe cupboard and mirror. There’s currently no bed but one will be provided if required.

Fortnightly cleaner included in the bills.

The house is clean, comfortable and full of character, perfect for someone who’ll treat it (and our pets!) with care.

About the house:

• One friendly male lodger (a close friend) is already living here, in the master bedroom.

• The house has full equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, double converted basement as additional living room / workspace & storage, bathroom & 2 bedrooms.

• He’s looking after our dog Lolli and cat Maggie, so a genuine love for animals is essential.

• Maggie is an indoor cat, so keeping doors and windows secure is really important.

• All pet food and essentials are fully covered, you just need to be happy sharing the space with two gentle, affectionate pets. Maybe giving in to their cries for food. They sleep the majority of the time, Lolli is the most laid back dog ever, she’s no bother, she just wants to sleep 99% of the time.

• Both pets are very quiet and relaxed, especially at night, so you’ll have no problem getting a good night’s sleep. We are honestly never disturbed.

Just a short walk from Stockport town centre.
• 2 min walk to Alexandra Park
• 4 min walk to Co-op
• 10 min walk to Stockport station – with regular trains to Manchester (7 mins) and London (under 2 hours)
• Excellent pubs, eateries, and cafés in nearby Stockport Old Town and Heaton Moor
• Redrock cinema, gyms, and shopping are close by
• Loads of green space around, plus the Peak District is an easy day trip

This is ideal for someone looking for a calm, well-connected home base with a real sense of community. As well as the added benefit of a couple of pets for company.
