Central Stockport

I have a large single/small double room available in my flat to live alongside me. I'm a young, healthy, clean 51 yo IT guy with a very loving cat and grown up children.

I have plenty of holidays, stay at my girlfriends and rarely sit in the living room but do work from it during the day so you'd likely have it to yourself in the evening..

You'll get a lockable door, bills included (within reason) & internet. TV is Sky basic, Netflix & Amazon Prime. Dishwasher, washing machine, modern bathroom & kitchen and door camera. I'm a reasonable person and happy to discuss any specific changes you need.

The room is [will be] mostly furnished with wardrobes, desk, small double bed, TV. No smoking in the room.

You can have your own sections of the fridge/freezer and cupboards but it might make sense to share some items eg. milk. I'm new to this. You can have multiple friends over 1 evening per week and have someone stay less than 1/3 of the week on average i. e. 2 nights if they are respectful. 2 evenings/nights maximum. This could change once I'm comfortable with our setup.

This would probably suit someone within 10 years of my age but I'm not that bothered and like a laugh. I have a dry sense of humour and don't take life very seriously except for the detail below.

You'll need to have no problem with my cat including occasional feeding & cleaning. He doesn't need any access to your room but needs to know he's liked.

My partying days are almost over so I have no problem with you coming and going as you please - as occasionally I will do to and may need you to feed Tiddles.
Good hygiene, paying bills on time, respectful and easygoing attitude, and willingness to compromise are a must.

I have a large allotment which you're welcome to have a section of yourself if you wish.

I will require a legitimate employer reference/evidence of funds and a personal reference. I reserve the right to request DBS/credit checks.

Bills included are council tax, broadband, sky, water and electricity - unlimited for your bedroom heater while in room and sockets for personal use.
