Mid 30s couple in search of a chilled out house mate. We are early morning gym goers, foodies, hikers and travel nerds.

Looking for someone who matches early nights and early risers.

Previous tennants have enjoyed living here for between 1 to 4 years. Each praised the house for its comfort, our attention to maintenanance and the location.

Your room is a sizable bedroom / lounge in a semi-detached house with a double bed, sofa, desk and ample storage.

This clever and spacious room is in a semi detached house, has its own WC and located on a quiet residential street. Complete with garage and a relaxing garden with outdoor furniture.

Available for an initial period of 2-3 weeks to 2 months. We can discuss a long-term let if we suit as house mates.

-- About the house ---
The house has a kitchen with breakfast bar - our social space. It also has a dining room/office with a TV, a lounge with TV and small desk, 2 WC toilets, 1 separate shower room with shower and sink, a garden with large outdoor dining table.

During the day 8.30-5.30, the dining room and lounge are normally our working from home spaces.

-- About the location --
We are less than 15 minutes walk from 3 Metrolink stops on the Altrincham, Airport and East Didsbury lines. Handy for getting into town but also to MediaCityUK and across South Manchester to Didsbury and the Airport.

Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, PureGym, NRG Gym and the restaurants/coffee shops and bars in Stretford and Chorlton are within walking distance. Nice off-road canalside walks bring you to Sale and Salford Quays via the Marina and Parks. Access to the canal is 3-4 minutes walk away. Great for walks, runs and cycles.

Buses and Starling Bank Bee Bikes are 3-4 minutes walk away. Bike lanes bring you all the way into town. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the bottom end of Deansgate by bike.

- - The household - -
We are 2 professionals in our 30s. We have busy schedules during the week and are often up early for the gym (6AM) or to commute, which often means we like quiet evenings and early nights (9-10PM).

An early-riser who suits these chilled vibes would work well in our little suburban sanctuary :)

Every now and then, mostly on weekends we do like to go out, socialise and have a drink. We love hiking, walking, the gym and our own pursuits (evening language classes etc.). One of us works in local government and the other in Media.

-- Our Ideal Housemate / Social Vibe--
We love having a get together every 1 or 2 months where we cook for each other or go out for food. We love cooking thai, italian and roasts. Sometimes we leave snacks out for each other. We generally cook and socialise separately but love a chat in the kitchen when we all have time.

We both work from home often, so someone who works out of the house more often than not would be ideal.

We like to keep tidy and clean but we're not clean freaks. We're looking for someone who is clean and tidy and does their bit with helping to clean the kitchen, unload the dishwasher and take the bins out without being nudged. We can chat about having a cleaner round once a fortnight if that's something we all want.
