2 Double Rooms in Friendly Houseshare in Stretford

I’ve recently bought a 3-bed house and am looking to rent out two spare rooms to create a friendly, sociable household.

The rooms are both comfortable doubles and, although not currently furnished, they can be if needed. You’ll be sharing with me as the live-in owner. The house has a shared kitchen, living space, backyard (I wish it was a garden be alas no) and is very much a home rather than just a place to sleep. There is also on-street parking.

I’m hoping to find people who are happy with shared living (e. g. chatting in the kitchen, the occasional shared meal or TV night) while of course respecting each other’s personal space. I’m not looking for a party house, but equally I don’t want a setup where everyone stays in their room all the time.

A couple of important bits:
• I have two fish, so you’ll need to be OK with pets (low-maintenance ones!)
• Rent: £500 pcm per room (includes bills: council tax, gas, electricity & broadband)
• Deposit: £400
• Available now
• Minimum stay: 6 months

The house would suit working professionals or postgraduates who are considerate, and open to being part of a shared home.

As I mentioned I’ve just moved in so currently don’t have a dining table* and don’t have anything on the walls so would be happy if the new housemates want to help me look for a new table and put things on the walls. I’ve only just realised that I’m pretty hopeless at interior design!

(*but do have washing machine, fridge, freezer, airfryer etc…all the other essentials)
