Double Room- Profesisonal or r post-grads

This is a simply furnished, big and bright double room, very comfortable large king bed, quiet and peaceful in a chilled house. It it is not suitable for couples or home workers. We expect you to be out of the house working or studying most of the day, most week days.

We are a couple, owner-occupiers, and this is our home. Whilst you will have your own private room, and will share with us bathroom, all of the kitchen facilities, crockery and cooking ware, microwave, fridge - and washing machine , wi-fi , etc. you cannot have guests or partners to stay over, or friends to come round. We don't have room for your furniture or lots of kitchen gear. This is a lodger agreement, not a house share or buddy up.

We are a pretty chilled couple, we work in arts and creative industries, LGBTQ+ friendly, and welcome people of all kinds if they are respectful and considerate. We enjoy a drink and are busy and sociable. We leave you do be as you are. We are not keen on Reform voters.

This would suit an independent, mature and respectful professional or post graduate who is busy with work or studies, and wants a quiet room to lodge in. It is not a house/flatshare- it is short term and temporary lodgings only.
Good quality Bedding, duvet, sheets and towels can be provided.

Superfast wi-fi.

1 old cat in residence. Sleeps 97.8% of the day.

NOTE: this is a largely vegetarian house, and although you will be absolutely fine to bring in meat based take-aways, your pizzas, Chicken subs, kebabs, or re-heat microwave meat based ready meals, fine to use meat based sauces, and keep pre-cooked meats in the fridge, NO cooking of fresh meat or fish is allowed.- ie no frying, roasting, grilling, boiling , braising of any fresh meat or fish. Absolutely non. Please let us know that you understand and are happy with this if you respond to this ad.

The house is just 5 minutes walk to Stretford Metro, Close by in Stretford at 10 mins walk, we have Aldi, the excellent Stretford Canteen, Grub, Bars including Head and Longford Tap, street food at Grub, Northern Rock Cinema, Stretford Public Hall with regular yoga, pilates classes, Pure Gym- all 5 minutes walk. Stretford Metro takes you into the city centre or to Media City, Salford Quays in 20 minutes. It's close to Junction 9 of M60; and 30 minutes walk to Chorlton centre.

Free, on street parking and pleasant garden-you can smoke there if you want to.

Bike storage space can be provided.
