Spacious furnished double bedroom available in South Manchester ( Stretford) from 01/05/2025 in an ideal location for Manchester, hospitals, Airport, Salford Quays and surroundings suburbs- Chorlton/ Didsbury etc..
Hi, I am looking for someone to rent a room in my 3 bed house either full time with bills included £600 month, with £300 deposit required. I would also consider Monday to Friday
A bit about the House:
Based in Stretford on a quiet cul de sac , Stretford is essentially in the middle of other popular areas of Manchester such as Chorlton, Didsbury, Sale, Altrincham, Salford Quays & Deansgate.
• On a clear run it takes less than a 10 min drive from the house straight up Chester Rd to the city centre.
• 5 min drive away from M60 motorway which loops all the way around Manchester and within easy reach of the airport.
• Plenty of buses which take 20 mins to reach Piccadilly Gardens, and Stretford Metrolink is a 10/15 min walk away, which can take you through and all around Greater Manchester. Old Trafford and Wharfside also nearby depending which direction / line you need.
• Trafford Centre (3rd biggest shopping centre in UK) is 10 min drive away and easy to get to by tram & bus. Manchester Arndale also easy to get to by getting the tram to Market Street.
• Tesco Superstore is a 5 min drive up Chester Rd and Co-op shop 5 min walk. White City retail park is a further 2 min drive past Tesco.
• Bridgewater Canal is a great cycling or walking route that takes you all the way through Sale and Altrincham and into Dunham Massey, or up into Castlefield / City centre.

A bit about me:
I would be a live in landlady
I’m Vicky, 47 years old and happily single with 2 young cats ( not quite a crazy cat lady!)
I work from home 5 days a week within the Civil Service sector
Im social but like my own space, enjoy cooking, going out, travel, spending time with family, the usual kind of things, but am respectful of other people’s space. In the evening I general chill and am out a lot at weekends. I will be caring for my nephew some weekends (please do not be offended if I ask for proof of ID/checks).

My last lodger has just moved out after 2 years here, and my lodger before was here for 5 years, so Im used to sharing the house with another person.
The rent includes all bills apart from your own food etc.. and there’s a low deposit required.
Ideally, I would like to share with another professional
I am a smoker – but at the back door
The only cleaning expected would be of your own room and tidying up after yourself in the bathroom/kitchen
