Spacious Double Room in Greater Manchester

Looking for a friendly and considerate professional flatmate to share this 2-bedroom flat from 1st of June 2025 (date flexible within reason).

The room is a spacious double with double bed and mattress, wardrobe, and clothes rail provided. The desk in the pictures is also available if needed. There is a large kitchen at the back of the house with American-style fridge freezer, a shared bathroom with shower, and a shared lounge with sofa and TV. (Also a few houseplants I'm trying to keep alive!) Resident parking is available as well.

All bills including wifi and streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Prime) are included in the rent; Council Tax band A. Short-term lets can be considered at a rate of £200 per week. Couples considered for monthly charge of £900 (deposit can remain at £750).

Urmston is lovely and green with a village feel, and good bus and train connections into town. Plenty of shops in the town centre including a farmers' market, and the Trafford Centre is nearby as well.

A bit about me: I'm fairly new to Manchester after moving in 2023 for work. I work in HR for a GP federation in Stockport so am out early in the morning, and work from home 2 days a week. I tend to be quiet and introverted, so enjoy relaxing at home or in my room (usually with a book!) but sociable when I get to know people, and I love hosting friends or going out for meals, concerts, walks (when it's not raining). I love music and travel, and am passionate about organic / recycling / low-waste lifestyles. Someone who is comfortable with both quiet relaxation and chatting at home would fit in well here.
